NeM-designed Bi-drum Boiler, delivered in knocked-down condition, with a steam capacity of 418tons/hour at MLNG plant, Bintulu, Sarawak. 1275 boiler bank tubes (each ≈16m long) were erected and 2550 joints were mechanically expanded. Many hundred more tube/pipe/plate joints were beveled (where required), fitted-up, and welded. The final Boiler was then hydro-tested to 135bars, witnessed and passed by DOSH.
